110% Agree. I just find it to be insulting that you can't have a Rational discussion about world affairs, while including a look inward, without being chastized. I think that it's ridiculous and emotionalism shouldn't be overtaking intelligence in 2010 IMO.
Yea, Obama might have apoligized too much or w/e, but those who are lambasting him for those speeches always leave out the 10-15 minute parts where he's discussing America's exceptionalism, and that's disengenuous. I don't see how anyone can deny that. He's on video praising our Country all over the world, and the tidbits where he can simultaneously humble us, while praising us, gets smashed by emotionalism.
Right, so your OP is bemoaning the foreign policies of which governments, precisely - besides ours?
******* losers like you who focus solely on your biased view, in which whining about Republicans equates to an intelligent debate, make me laugh. Seriously.
We cannot change the past - we can learn from it and move on. It's a pity that some of us are not capable of seeing anything but the faults of the nation. If you live abroad, you might get a very different view.... You might actually understand how much good we have done - along with the few **** ups.... But I'm not gonna berate the nation just because a bunch of ******* lefties have decided that we should.
I don't hate lefties - I despise their policies, their lack of backbone, their sheer hypocrisy and their ability to ignore all of our massive achievements in order to focus on the **** ups.
You're too emotional to have an adult discussion with.
A discussion is not berating the nation.
Also, all you do is cry about people whining about Republicans while simultaneously whining yourself, about lefties, and subsequently acting like that makes you better. You're not. You're just a mean spirited person who gets hyper-emotional (post-wise, anyways, I don't ******* know you), whenever someone seemingly ticks off your sensitive sensibilities. RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrlax. That's my advice.
You're not rational. You think that an American looking to have an adult discussion about American foreign policy(you know, the Country the he/she lives in and can have an effect on)........ is somehow hating/leftist/blah blah, and also has to subsequently knock all OTHER country's ills, and CANT, at the same time, be grateful for America's achievements. You're narrow minded, is all I can say.
