Are the tariffs issued by President Trump a constitutional issue

You keep getting angrier, and your insults keep getting more prolific and more butthurt.

You should take a break from the hating, to save your health.
You keep applying your emotions to me with no knowledge of my mood. Sounds like you are projecting your anger and hate.

You are exhibiting your bigotry.

Very boring response maMOOT
I just asked a question. I offered no argument.

It is a great question. It is a perfect question.

And yes, I am mocking you by tossing your own logic back in your face. You don't have a response to that tactic, which demonstrates how stupid your logic was.

As you're going to keep evading, I'll just state my point directly.

Tariffs are direct government interference in the free market.

Once you say this government interference the the free market is okay, you can no longer offer a blanket criticism of such things. And that's bad news for conservatives, since such mindless unjustified blanket criticism is their standard fare when attacking liberals.
Do you understand that Trump is doing more than the tariffs?
He is giving foreign businesses perks to move their businesses to the US.

Oh, I really didn't think I was attacking you....I thought it was a civil conversation.

You think a free market exists with foreign countries that have more than tariffs on our exports?
I understand.

Youy can't debate any liberal on any topic, ever. For years, you've only been able to power-sulk whenever a liberal laughs at your cult mewling.

And you understand how helpless you are. Since you're not honest enough to admit your moral and intellectual decrepitude, you see your only option as being lying about what liberals supposedly believe.

That's why you rely entirely on dishonest strawmen.

Try acting like a liberal for once. Be honest. Lose the sputtering rage and insults. State points directly. You might find it refreshing.

You are mocking me maMOOT. How flattering that my question is of such significance that you admit you can only mock me.

It really was a perfect question, thank you

I understand.

Yet, you are only flaming and trolling, not discussing. Thank you for pointing out what you accuse me of you are in fact doing.

Throughout the years maMOOT has learned I am always right. Thank you again for affirming my facts and logic.

You seem to be deflecting away and insulting him, mamooth.
He was asking a qualified question.

As that's also government interference in the free market, you would seem to be confirming my point that you adore government interference in the free market, but only when it's politically convenient for you to do so.

And, despite what you've been told, every admin gives perks. For example, the Biden admin gave huge perks to the semiconductor industry with the CHIPS act. Trump isn't doing anything out of the ordinary there.

I don't think it is a constitutional issue. Just a dumbass Trump issue. He said he would. Economist and fund managers told him it was a bad idea. He is dumb as a rock, so he did it anyway, with no staff, but "yes men" for guidance. He is like the shrunken head in the Harry Potter movie.

Everything he's done thus far will end up being a positive. We can then put dance caps(again) on all these "expert" economists.

Trumps giving them a level playing field, even with lowering the fed taxes.
The libs keep raising them on businesses pushing them away. That's how
we lost them in the first place.

Again, that's what every admin does. Usually without the drama and xenophobia.

Now you're wandering off into cuckoo land. Where do you come up with this stuff?

Having to rely on countries like India and China can be dicey at best.
Don't you think?
.

This is a very good reason to avoid pHARMaceuticals, so many of which are made in India and China.

You might want to lecture China on free markets. Being at the end of a wagging leftist finger will definitely bring them around.

That's what every administration does? Lower the tax rates? Hell we are one of the highest if not the highest.
Even China has lower rates, so knock off your yarn.

I'm wandering off? You are deflecting. :cuckoo:
