They are out of their minds if they think Trump is going to gain new voters. From what demographic? Most Americans hate trump, even more so after Jan 6th. Even some trump supporters are getting tired of his whining and bitching. If they think getting convicted of federal crimes will somehow increase his votes, they are dumber than we thought. On top of that, most Americans believe women should have access to abortions beyond 6 weeks. That is probably going to be the biggest single issue that brings out the voters. In addition, you're going to have more younger voters than ever come out after 3 GOP candidates suggested cutting SS benefits for the younger people. As it stands now, I dont think it'll even be a close call who wins for President, no matter who runs. And that is just going to trickle down to the Congressional races.
