english speaking Poles were ok------even if {ugh}

only reason we (jewish family with 5 kids) managed
to GET IN in the early 50s was----the previously rural
agrarian town discovered that selling little houses to
BABY BOOM families was very LUCRATIVE---all kinds
of riff-raff manage to "GET IN"----even Irish, Wops,
and jews-------no blacks until decades later
