I happened to have watched this particular Beck show on TV. Call me crazy if you wish, but if you will open your mind and think about past history, Obama seems to be doing many of the things an early Adolph Hitler did on his rise to power. He has the very same sort of "spell binding speaking charm", he is wildly adored by sheep like followers, and his takerover programs deeply resemble Germany and Hitler back in the day of Hitler's rise. People often, and freely show their disdane for Glenn Beck but many times he is right on the money. He is just that in this case. I hope people wake up to what's going on around them before it's too late. The government has taken over the banking industry, the mortgage industry, the auto industry and now they have their sights on the medical industry. When that happens, Obama will have control over every aspect of your life from the womb to the tomb. Stand by. They are going to be coming after your guns next or very soon.

You are correct in a lot of your analysis. Some of us saw it coming too. In preparation for this eventuality, I began re-reading the "Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" about this time last year. Once it became apparent that the race would be McCain - Obama, the outcome was a foregone conclusion.

There are some significant differences in the programs, though not the methods. Although the Nazi party was officially called the National Socialist German Worker's Party, Hitler didn't give a shit about economics and anyone that supported truly socialist changes, looked like a communist to him. So by 1929, most of the actual socialists in the Nazi party had either left the party or decided the better part of valor was to shut up about it. Your can put Josef Goerbels in that group.
