Anyone?

....radicalism and general misinformation to kids WHILE keeping everything from the parents.
Those things have never been promoted to me, and the parents of my students have total access to all lessons and materials I use. Tonight, parents are coming to the school to see where, what, and how their children are being taught, and to ask any questions they may have. The parents of my students are welcome in my class at any time, and they know it.

It is the PARENT's responsibility to make sure their kids are educated. TO EDUCATE THEIR children themselves when necessary and MOST of the time it IS necessary on the part of the parents. Having lived it myself, through my kids and gone through the program of college education and teaching courses...which let me tell you are damn pathetic at best, I KNOW what is going on.

.....
How many years have you worked as a teacher in a public school? When was the last time you set foot in a school?

Well then segregate based on testing.

They do this all over Asia to great effect.
....
In classrooms all across Asia there are some more advanced students and some less studying together. Every classroom everywhere will have students of differing degrees of proficiency in the topic at hand. I am not aware of any school for cloned humans.

You should be, because that is what is "censored."
I assume porn is....i'm sure there are a number of teachers not happy with that. What i'm talking about is Conservative content, EVEN President Trump's inauguration speech. THIS is censorship of the WORST kind.

Does anyone really want to discuss education? Not rehashing one dead horse talking point endlessly, or decrying all teachers as monsters? Unions tend toward sucking, ALL racism is bad, and every profession has some nut jobs working in it. Ok? Do we have that out of the way now? Anyone interested in really discussing methodologies, challenges, teaching/learning experiences, or possible changes? We have established by now that some people are advocates for home schooling, vouchers, or charter schools. Some people want cameras surgically implanted in all teachers, rigged to explode if a parent sitting on the sofa at home sees something she doesn't like. Got it? Now, how about discussing education?

Cry us a river, teacher—no really. I came up with a couple of individuals who now teach at both elementary and high school levels in the Baltimore County, Maryland school district. One teaches "general" studies, the other teaches French, History and is a wrestling coach. All day, everyday, and no more than since the pandemic began, both of them complain on social media about every aspect of their jobs and how hard it is to be teachers, how hard it is to teach. Poor souls. I really need to unfriend them so I no longer have to read their depressing mewling.

The teachers who taught me back in the seventies and eighties were by and large Korean and Vietnam War veterans (the males), and highly educated professionals possessed of uncommon grit (the females). They seemed to realize that their primary function was to EDUCATE children and young adults PERIOD, no matter the political climate. They did not whine, they did not mewl, they did not PMS over their personal or professional hardships; they taught their classes and carried on, regardless of conditions.

So do your job, teacher. Do your job and shut up.

No speech by any president is censored in any school of which I am aware. Certainly not in my classroom.

I think standardized tests are a racket that really ties the hands of a lot of good teachers. I think more teachers need more control over their own classrooms, and I also think the pay should go up so more gifted people will be attracted to the profession. Some people just aren't willing to work that hard for 45k/yr. Teaching well is hard and it takes a lot of energy. It's also one of the most important jobs in any civilized society.
$45k a year? Many teacher's wish they made that much. I retired after 21 years. I made $50K 4 out of those 21 years and 3 were in an inner city middle school. The other gave me day for day credit for 11 years military service.

well your experiences are merely anecdotal Unkotare and i don't know that i should believe a damn word you say and i have answered your questions as IF IT MATTERS.

I work in public schools. Do you?

I have indirect experience with this as my wife's family lives in Asia.

There was a HUGE uproar in her family a few years ago when one of the younger males tested below the top levels (20th percentile), despite extensive tutoring.

As such he was classed into a room, with students who ranked at a testing levels far below his parent's desire.

Asia, particularly Japan, and China are driven by standardized testing, and placement.

The point being that the subjects taught in them are taught at a higher level.

Competition is high, pressure is high, but the depth of the subjects is also high.

As such the university preparation is much greater because students of like IQ can be grouped and excel together.

You advocate doing away with public schools because you never took advantage of any education judging from you rampant ignorance of all topics you demonstrate with each post you make.
I "took advantage" of being a piece of meat in a social experiment known as "school integration" (i.e. forced busing to a school that I didn't want to attend)...Then my family moved to the 'burbs, primarily to put my brothers and me into better schools, and they sucked just as badly as the urban hell hole institutions we fled.

So yes, I have plenty of experience with your shitty gubmint schools, educrat.

You are advocating for the abolishment of public schooling. Do you have any idea how devastating that would be to our country?
Once Again, a Left-Wing Phenomenon That Was Created by the Right Wing

The ruling class found out that their expensive private schools can't make their inferior-IQ brats any smarter. So they decided to make sure that the public schools made smart kids dumber.
