Do we have any reason to expect Obamacare itself, to work any better than its crash-prone, balky, nearly useless website?

Well, who was the website written by?

It was written by a professional website company. One with some experience in writing websites, whom you would think would know some of the more obvious problems to avoid. Of course, their past accomplishments include writing Canada's gun registry website and software, which had so many problems and worked so poorly that the Canadian government dumped it. But at least it was a company whose business was writing websites.

And the result was the debacle everyone is seeing.

And, who wrote Obamacare?

Not insurance companies. And not people who are used to managing large companies, or people who have any experience with eithe medical care or insurance.

Obamacare was written by politicians. People with no experience, except in writing laws and doing the horsetrading needed to get others to pass them. And worse, politicians with a particularly weird philosophy: The idea that people who have have no competition, will still work as hard as those who do have competition, to improve their product, cut costs, and please their customers.

While an argument can be made that the people who wrote the website had SOME impetus to do a good job and the background to at least try, there is no reason to think thatt the people putting together Obamacare itselff, have either the motivattion or the knowledge and experience to make ANYTHING work right.

Don't like the poor performance off the Obamacare Federal website? Count your blessings.

The website might turn out to be the BEST part of Obamacare we're going to see... and it will all be downhill from here.

They can't get a website right. How are they going to set prices, policies and procedures for 1/6th of the economy?

There has been an argument that Obama Care web sites may sprout up that are scams.....

How does one protect oneself from them....

It's easy....

The scam site will be the one you can log on to and provide all your personal information....

:D

Obamacare Regulations Are 8 Times Longer Than Bible | CNS News
(CNSNews.com) – Since March 2010, when President Barack Obama signed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and its companion Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act (HCERA), the administration has published in the Federal Register 109 final regulations governing how Obamacare will be implemented.

These regulations add up to 10,516 pages in the Federal Register—or more than eight times as many pages as there are in the Gutenberg Bible, which has 642 two-sided leaves or 1,286 pages.

Using the regulations.gov website and the Federal Register itself, CNSNews.com found 109 distinct regulations for the implementation of PPACA and the health-care related provisions of HCERA that had been finalized by various federal agencies and published in the Federal Register as of Sept. 9, 2013.

--

The 109 final Obamacare rules that have been published in the Federal Register so far take up 10,516 pages in the register. These pages carry an average of about 1,000 words each. So, the final Obamacare regulations published so far amount to approximately 10,516,000 words.

There is no way Obamacare will be anything but an unmitigated disaster.

You know -- like we told you it would.

You hear that, Obama bootlickers?

I've considered going to a public wifi and trying to sign up as Barry Soetoro or 1 of his alias under a couple of his stolen SSN's. I'm sure they've already filtered that however. Just imagine if you could get enough zombies to spam that site with his personal info and take it down. That would be EPIC!

What part of Obamacare won't work? It's mostly just people buying insurance from private companies.

Millions of Americans Are Losing Their Health Plans Because of Obamacare

But the president's promise is turning out to be false for millions of Americans who have had their health insurance policies canceled because they don't meet the requirements of the Affordable Care Act.
