altered frisbees, yes.Kathianne said:Is that where a 'course' is set up and a frisbee is used? My sons play this in college. They have interhall tournies. :cof:

It's one of those sports that looks REALLY dull,
but once you play you can't stop.
It is fun.Kathianne said:No joke. The youngest gave up running cross country in order to be able to play.
JOKER96BRAVO said:Never played Arvada.
You still play?
If not, wanna sell your gear?
I play mostly in Widefield cause it's 2 miles from the house.
On occasion I'll hit Pueblo or Expo park (Denver).
We need to play sometime.no1tovote4 said:On occassion I go out with a friend of mine, we play in Arvada, Winter Park, Ken Caryl, and a few other places. One is flat on long, Arvada is a great course. Winter Park is interesting, playing when your shot is downhill and then finding your discs can be difficult...
One minor difference...Mr. P said:No Disc Golf...We got Cow chip tossin instead.
Sorta the same thing.

I play AT LEAST 3 days a week.no1tovote4 said:We should! It has been a while for me...

I'll let you know when I'm up there,
you let me know when you're down here.
You really should play Widefield. Well laid out course, not too many trees
not too little. Small creek runs through 90% of the course but it's
shallow enough to jump in and get your disk back. Very challenging.
Pueblo will make you cry. Too many trees, can't throw any higher than
six feet without hittin one. Hole lay out is confusing, very very hard course.
It's really beatiful though.
PDGA has picked these two courses for the state tournament in October.
