Don't know who Jeremy Hunt is, but like most folks who toss around ad homs--you're wrong. I did google it. Maybe you should have. Using 2024 as an example, there were 12 fatal lightning strikes in the US occurring in seven different states on 12 different days. In comparison, there were 16,576 gun related fatalities (not including suicides) in the US. Does that sound like you have more chance of being struck by lightning? SMH. Now don't get your panties in a wad because someone disagreed with you and try discussing civilly.

Walk through Lambeth at night. It's a 10 minute walk from the London Eye. Let us know how you made out.

Just think, 10 minutes is all it takes to go from a nice safe area, filled with restaurants and shops, and my personal favorite hotel on the Thames, the Marriott County Hall, to a part of London that cops don't like to go in after dark.

You should get out more, hanging around Swiss Cottage, and the tourist spots on the Thames is great, but it doesn't expose you to the real London.
