Another young woman falls victim to GOP abortion laws. RIP

I literally did. You can't accept that there are millions of voters who think the government has no business in it.

Then they are punting on the issue as well, because they just don't want to deal with it.

It sucks that you can't unilaterally do that. You can pretend the car barreling down the street isn't going to hit you, but that doesn't stop it from bowling you over when it does.

What on earth are you talking about?

Logically because a percentage of the people in our society want to have laws on this.
Why though?
The fetus' life belongs to itself, not the woman.
It is hers more than anyone else's, it's dependent on her for its existence, it's part of her body.
And why have property laws at all? After all, it's none of the owners business if the thief really really wants it.
Well property laws originated centuries before the USA existed and those laws were enacted to protect the wealthy.
I am pointing out the logical flaws in your argument, that you are too stupid to figure out.
Are you? I don't see that.

And your argument completely ignores that fact - "This is a private issue between the woman and her medical staff. If women don't have the simple right to autonomy of their own personal body free from government oppression, then they and we have no rights whatsoever. "

The "it's not our business" argument you are trying to foist on the debate.

One side thinks it is their business, thus it becomes a dodge to try to pretend otherwise.

Not for you to ask or decide.

It's not part of her body like her foot is, it's a unique life created by an act done by the person in question (with help).

Meaningless.

Your lack of understanding is not my concern.

According to the article in the OP, the doctors hesitated in removing the fetus because they were confused about what constituted a medical emergency. A doctor who doesn't understand what a medical emergency is should lose his license.
They delayed because there was a heartbeat in the nonviable fetus

By the time that heartbeat stopped… it was too late and mama died

Then it's malpractice on their part.

The other side thinks it is not. Thats what the disagreement is about. 👍

It’s not for YOU to decide. Nor is it for a mostly male state legislature

And that state legislature IS big government

In the weeks since ProPublica first reported on two Georgia women, Amber Nicole Thurman and Candi Miller, who died after being unable to access legal abortions in their home state, Trump has also largely avoided commenting on their specific cases. However, during a Fox News townhall, the host Harris Faulkner told Trump that Thurman’s family was holding a press call.

“We’ll get better ratings, I promise,” Trump joked. The crowd laughed.

Such is GOP compassion. This shit cant go on.
Yep. The so-called "PROLIFE PARTY" killed 2 humans! Their laws didn't allow doctors to save either life! Terrible subhuman behavior from the garbage party!

They get to think that all they want, it doesn't make the issue go away just because they want it to go away.

It's also intellectually cowardly, as demonstrated by you dodging answering if you agree with abortion of viable fetuses 1 second before birth as long as the mother convinces 1 doctor her health is at risk.

Wrong. That's what legislatures are for.

Actually, your citizenships are only Federal and State. smaller local governments only have the powers given to them via the home rule laws and constitutional provisions of a given State.

In a State, power flows from the people to the State Government, and then back down to the local jurisdictions.

I didn't dodge it. I said it was ok.

Indeed. It is a major driver in women voting.

Sure they are JoeB131 has already said as much. No restrictions. None. He is a die hard Democrat and is not alone.

Why don't you quote what I actually said instead of saying, "Said as much".

My position is clear. Late abortions are only performed in cases where the woman's health is in danger, like this one. Because of this idiotic law, this woman died unnecessarily.

One side needs to learn how to mind their own business. Learn how to get into heaven on your own damn dime, not the expense of innocent women.
