one has to wonder if Libyas main driving force to make a deal was because once all is known about their nuke proliferation program "if ya want it here it is, come and get it" how could a deal be stuck that would be favorable to them? I would like to know if there are still things[punishment] that we can do or is the slate already been wiped clean??? But it does appear that nothing is being covered up or hidden, so for that I have to give them a gold star.

My guess is 'wiped clean'. Reason for the settlement on Pan Am Lockerbie and French problem. If he keeps out of radar, he will stay in power. Just my guess.
