Yesterday I got a brand new Census form in the mail along with a nasty gram telling me I needed to fill out the Census or they would be sending someone to my home to collect the information. I already returned it the day it came-- about two weeks ago now. WTF???

Is this our government wasting money by sending more forms and people to my door because they can't keep track of people who have ALREADY retuned their competed forms? WTF!?!

According the the Census Bureau only 65% of the sheeple fill out the census. They won't miss yours if they misplaced it!!!

The census helps many, including businesses.

Is anyone really stupid enough to LIE on the census as a political statement? That will only **** your own local district, seriously people what the **** type of crippled thinking is this? I haven't once gotten incensed on this forum yet, but this is just pure retardation and is definitely the first time I think i've felt even a small pang of legitimate anger.

Seriously, i don't care if you're a member of the left or right, if you're not participating in the census as a political message, you should be smacked for ******* stupidity. I understand if you simply choose not to every time, that's fine it's your choice as an american. But if your goal is to lie or abstain in hopes of hurting Obama, you hurt your own local constituency more.

I also asked how many people lied/didn't fill it out in 1990,1980,1970.... , so far I think 3 people have responded with an answer. Most just want to say how they are "Sticking it to the man" by not filling it out or lying on it. THAT will show your community/state who is boss!

It's one thing to be legitimately opposed to policies and want to speak out using any of apparatus of our fine electoral system. It's another thing to intentionally harm yourself and your own neighbors just in the hopes of getting sympathy for your cause.

In fact, doesn't the right wing stress independence and taking care of oneself, not dependence, hesitancy and asking for handouts? Maybe even that's changing .

You accomplished one thing with your census. I did two things. They have been made aware exactly who many people live at this address for districting and fund allocation purposes. That is question one and possibly two. The rest is obtainable from existing government sources or just none of their business. I took the opportunity to make that clear to them. I do not appreciate your characterization that it was a lie in some fashion. Apparently you are so entrenched in entitlements, you consider this action harmful to myself. I do not see it that way at all.
