No they did not actually. The lawsuits were simply run by the government to collect money and place blame to avoid accepting responsibility.

Of course it did not work, The government owned the court and filed the suit it was a no win. The fact is the government is responsible for causing the problem they blamed the Sacklers for.

The government certainly played a role but that doesn't excuse what the Sacklers did.

We could just shoot the drug runners. Oh wait. Some of them are only one year old, and a drug pusher threatened to kill tbe child if mommie didn't use the diaper bag to hide contraband she would have to turn over on the other side or lose the family she left behind to go to America.

That is why I am sick and tired of illegal crossings. There are deaths and dismemberments before they get to the border. If Mexico doesn't fold the drug cartels will declare an unholy hades against the people with every demonic kind of extreme torture/killing imaginable to creative minds including civilians innocent of drug participation or sales.

Needless to mention it is popular in the bowels of drug proliferation areas to read stats of stupid Americans dying of fentynal that is easy to overdose on. It's like the greedy soap makers who put cup sized lids on detergents and softeners that many people fill to do one load and almost cannot believe that the obfuscated markings inside the cup may indicate one load marking is 1/4 inch from the bottom of said lid (usually a medium to dark color) does one load. So instead of getting 128 loads, just divide it by 4 and you get to buy another bottle after 32 or less loads, and sales for the cheating jerks skyrocket and we're none the wiser. American lives don't matter to the drug lords who circle jerk when they read that 300 Americans died of drug overdoses last week. Lot of cold hearts in the sales business but none so cold as vengeful drug lords who haven't faced justice for their cushy, profitable cashflow from all over the Western world. And they probably understood how much money they can earn from American politicians who oh , say took a billion in foreign aid and socked it awsy in some numbered account in a carribbean resort area bank who disclose nothing about their sneaky joe cash sellout of the American taxpayer knowledge.

There has to be a reason an accomplished megabucks extortion artist might want drugs to flow over the border. Now what might that be to a pol who gets s billion bucks out of a third world country like a threatened satellite country such as the Ukraine when a seasoned grifter who bragged big to his partners about his billion dollar betrayal of the American taxpayer so he might get more than that from the trillionnaires in the drug lord scam just by paying an army of willing coconspirators for cash on election count day.

Today's leaders in America: Extortion kings for money over providing protection from foreign predators who circle jerks at the statistics their products inflict on stupid people who do drugs and die to do it.
