Ann does something you just don't see much of anymore......allowing change.

It is no secret she was down on Trump after he failed (in her opinion) us and the country on immigration.

Antagonizing the people you have to work with isn't a plan, especially when you don't have the resources to hold these people or process them.

You don't need a lot of jail room to hold the obstructionist mayors and city councils who will get in the way.

And that is perfectly within the law.

My wife came over from China on a tourist Visa and then claimed asylum once she got here. The law allows for that.

All the immigrant is required to do is make a request once they've gotten here.

NOW- the problem is that the system itself is flaws. You had this idiot German family who claimed asylum from Germany because they wouldn't allow them to Home School their kids. 17 years later, the government decided they weren't entitled to asylum, but just plain gave up on expelling them.

A "Wall" is more symbolic than physically effective. It is a sign to those who want to come here illegally that they are not welcome, and "we" will try to toss them out - at least when a Republican is in the WH.

This guy Homan is great. He looks like the antithesis of an intellectual, but he know what he is talking about.

The wall was a complete and utter failure both times that it was prime previously and turned out to be a complete waste of money.

Of course Republicans want to do it again. Republicans excel at repeating their failures, over and over and over again because the American people are too stupid to notice they failed.

Where is the “due process” for those being deported???

When Trump tried these mass deportations during his last administration, the general public revolted on the horrific inhumanity of the program.

“Mass deportations” sound good on paper but when you start picking up their friends and neighbours, ripping families apart and leaving children with no parents, it doesn’t go over well with the general public.
