Seems the champagne socialists are scared of facing the truth, and the possibility they are not wanted by the people of Britain

Labour leadership hopeful Angela Eagle has had to cancel a meeting on Tuesday because of the level of abuse she is receiving after she announced she would challenge Jeremy Corbyn.

The MP for Wallasey's constituency office, which is based in Merseyside, was found damaged on Tuesday morning after a brick was thrown at one of the windows.

The staff at Eagle's office also told the Liverpool ECHO that they had stopped answering the phone due to the level of abuse they had been receiving.

Helen Osgood, a senior caseworker at Angela Eagle's office, said "I've spoken to Angela and she's also had threats and intimidation. She was supposed to go to a meeting in Luton today but the hotel managers had [received] threats all night so the meeting hasn't been able to go ahead."

“The level of abuse is disgraceful and we have asked the police to look into it," local councillor Bernie Mooney added.

“All I’ve been told is they have put the windows through," Eagle told the ECHO, "I just got the message and I’m going there now.”

Eagle's staff also confirmed to Sky News that she was due to attend a meeting at the Leaside Hotel in Luton however it had to be cancelled due to abuse hotel staff had received overnight.

This comes just hours after the former shadow Business Secretary announced that she would be launching a bid to replace the under-pressure Jeremy Corbyn as the leader of the Labour Party.

The vast majority of Labour MPs voted for a motion of no confidence against the Labour leader last month and dozens have resigned from his shadow cabinet in protest against his leadership.

In a statement, Corbyn said he "utterly condemns" the abuse received be Eagle and claimed that he had recently received death threats. He said:

"It is extremely concerning that Angela Eagle has been the victim of a threatening act and that other MPs are receiving abuse and threats. As someone who has also received death threats this week and previously, I am calling on all Labour Party members and supporters to act with calm and treat each other with respect and dignity, even where there is disagreement. I utterly condemn any violence of threats, which undermine the democracy within our party and have no place in our politics."

Just last week, Labour Party PR officer Kevin McKeever received a chilling note warning him that his "treachery" had been noted and he would be "coxed" — a reference to the recent murder of MP Joe Cox. It is believed that the mention of "treachery" related to the recent coup against Corbyn.

The Merseyside Police published the following statement:

“Merseyside Police can confirm they were called to premises in Manor Road, Wallasey, today, Tuesday 12 July, following reports of criminal damage. It is believed that between 5pm last night (Monday) and 9am today, damage was caused to the front ground floor window of an office. The incident was reported to Merseyside Police at 9.55am today. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.”

I wonder where tommy tainted was during all this, would it be the right thing to do if I reported him as a suspect to Merseyside police ?

Not that I am aware of, but it seems that the neo marxists are so scared of losing just 1 vote that they are prepared to go to any ends to protect their power base.

Yes she is and she has promised to hit big bosses that give themselves 150% pay rises while cutting the workers wages to do so. Many of these bosses will face being taxed at 99% on their wages if they try and close up shop, this will pay for the running of the company while they are in jail for fraud

Wow, Boris Johnson has been appointed the new British Foreign Secretary, that should be entertaining, he's very entertaining, but he's also highly intelligent and also he ran the Leave the EU Campaign, so I think this is a good appointment.

I wonder who'll be put in charge of the Brexit Unit, perhaps Michael Gove.

George Osborne has been sacked, Theresa May wielding the knife.

Which is why labour is wanting to get rid of their embarrassment in Corbyn ( he cant even spell his own name ). The neo Marxist's are hanging on by fair means or foul and the nation is watching them do it. All it would take is a new law looking at how political parties sign up members and labour would be banned for fraud at the first enquiry
