Before sending in local police to break up the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, Durkan's office criticized demonstrators, and a member of the City Council for putting her life in jeopardy when they gathered outside her home.

The first question for debate should be were any police officers present at durkans home when the rioters arrived?

because she did not allow the police to protect ordinary citizens from the mob and she does not deserve police protection either
