Lowering taxes can most certainly spurn enough economic growth enough to cover and even exceed the lost tax revenues. Do you think most people stick the extra money under their mattress? Even if they did, would people having a larger nest egg potentially allow for cuts in government spending that was previously used to help people who didn't have a nest egg? I' am a senior citizen, sir or mam. I have never asked anybody for freebies, but I am barely scraping by under the Biden presidency. I only have a much smaller amount in my savings account and am concerned about being able to pay basic costs. I don't know about everybody else. I hope they have protection from this depression, which I call such because here it doesn't seem to be a mere dip in the economy, and medical bills, if I had them, would mean no groceries for a month. I am glad to hear others are getting by okay. My husband died 8 Yeats ago on June 13. He was the best at finances. I wasn't, and my art doesn't put bread on the table, because I am buying citrus foods that went to higher prices when scientists spilled the news that citrus consumption prevented the covid microbes from prospering and killing a lots of Americans.

Ironically one of the tenets of modern socialism is the "struggle session" or "self criticism" session.
