And now -- just like that -- marijuana is 100% Republican and good for business.

I'll bet you believe Biden made every decision while in office even though his own staff must prepare questions in advanced prior to asking him a question.
Do you think Trump wrote a single EO? Do you think he has even READ one?

And you believe Trump is making every decision and we all know that is bullshit.

Trump expected to sign executive order to reclassify marijuana as soon as Monday, source tells CNBC; pot stocks surge

So I wonder how long it will take for the local trump supporters will take to come around to the new point of view.

Whaddya say, republicans? Is pot OK with you if trump reclassifies it down to the level of say, alcohol?
Personally I’ve ever really cared about the marijuana issue. I understand both sides. I think pot heads are total dopes and it’s meant to keep the public dumb and slow. On the other hand cancer patients (and other illnesses) should be able to use it if they want. The whole “medical marijuana” has become a total joke, and is abused so much that 99% of the people using it are just pit heads without any illness.

I think the only thing I do not like about legalizing it, is that the government has been able to incarcerate real shit head criminals with marijuana charges when they didn’t have enough evidence for their other crimes.

Pot is a gateway drug

And bad for children
So is alcohol. Children shouldn’t be taking it or drinking. Children can get illegal drugs fairly easily from pushers who also push other drugs. That is your 'gateway.'

Of course alcohol is not good for children

Why add to their troubles by introducing them to something else thats not good for them?

Most kids don't have trouble avoiding alcohol or drugs unless they are influenced by pushers who are their friends and acquaintances.

Or if they know where mom and her live-in boyfriend keeps their stash

That would not be the fault of the drug. Most folks I know who imbibe and have kids keep the alcohol and drugs away from their children and there is no problem.

Pointing to the exception is no reason to ban anything. Like guns, just because a kid gets his dad's gun and does bad shit with it, isn't the fault of the gun. Y

Nice dodge. Name one president who draft his own EO.

Now, are you disputing what Biden's former staff members said about having to submit questions in weeks or months in advance and approved by his inner circle before asking him a question?

No amount of regulations are going to stop kids from drinking or using weed although more will reject weed than alcohol. That goes for every age bracket, not just kids. I know adults who don't mind getting drunk but hell no to weed fearing "something" may happen to them.

So then parents simply kerp it away from kids. Problem solved.

You're not a parent? :p

There's probably no high school kid in all of the US that hasn't smoked weed.

When my daughter was 9 she had a 10 year old boyfriend who stole some weed from his dad. We were living in Haight Ashbury at the time, where there are dispensaries on every corner. So I had to use some psychology. I couldn't just say "don't smoke weed", but I could make her aware of the risk of smoking stolen weed. This way I can tell her "any time you need weed money, you come to me" and "as long as I know where you're getting it so I can make sure you're safe". Win/win. No kid is going to take their parents up on an offer like that, kids don't want parents in their shit. But this way dad comes off as hip and caring instead of old and prejudiced. And if she ever does ask I'll know she's smoking a lot of weed cause she ran out of money, and that way we can have that discussion then.

You can't keep it away from the kids, it doesn't work. The more you try the bigger deal it becomes and the more they go after it.

Legalize it!

Reclassifying it from schedule I to schedule III isn't the same as reclassifying it to the level of alcohol.

It's still a controlled substance.
