And here we go: Georgia Republicans purge Black Democrats from county election boards

Always a good sign when the Trumpsters make a thread all about ol' Mac.

My post (the one preceding yours) wasn’t about ol’ Mac. It was about refuting some crap ol’ Mac spewed about the political side he dislikes. The contrast made my post more about the senile racist incumbent, Joe Brandon.

This is the kind of under-the-national-radar tactic we've been assuming would happen, as the Big Lie becomes codified.

So it begins. Expect to see this kind of thing metastasizing in every state the GOP can infect.

Example, from the article:

In five of the Georgia counties that restructured election boards - Troup, Morgan, Pickens, Stephens and Lincoln - the legislature shifted the power to appoint some or all election board members to local county commissions, all of which are currently controlled by Republicans. Previously, the appointments had been split evenly between the local Democratic and Republican parties, sometimes with other local entities controlling some appointments. The intent of the old system: To ensure a politically balanced or nonpartisan board.
You have a party that does not believe in democracy and is dismanttling the aparatus of democracy in support of a candidate who despises democracy because folk vote against him.

What could go wrong ?

America is a Republic.

And they can always vote o Election Day.

Reuters is so liberally biased that it provides few real facts

And it screams anti trumpism

What I gather is that predominately republican districts can now have a more representative election board

Oh my, but is that one biased ass article. MSNBC would be proud of it.

Citizens no longer trusting each other, laws being changed to fit an agenda ...

Voting days and weeks ahead of Election Day was part of an agenda.

They call it Election 'Day', not election week, not election month, not elections weeks.

How Trump-backed secretary of state candidates would change elections in the United States

Exactly how Democrats do it, derp.

Except here it would increase the honesty and integrity of ballots whereas Democrats want no signature check ballots counted, mail-in ballots with no postmark counted, etc., etc., etc.

So they mad that their "Pews to Polls" scheme is not working as planned. Good.

The left goes on no end about religion being tied to conservative politics then try to pull that shit.

Gap-toothed Stacy Abrams tried the whole "Souls to the Polls" thing here in Virginia.....Less than 350 people voted that weekend (including Sunday) and not all of them voted dem judging by the results from the area.

Well stated.

You have an incomplete, poor reporter article. Were there other Democrats on the board that kept there positions? If there were then it’s a real issue. If it is one party in power clearing out the other party, that is done all over and is done by Democrats and Republicans.

Yes - the Democrats ARE more dangerous than Nazis. :(

Slavery, the Civil War, the assassination of Lincoln, black codes, Jim Crow, lynchings.

The same party then as now, only back then they had the KKK as their paramilitary arm, today they have Antifa and BLM.

According to what you are quoting, it looks like Republicans are getting rid of some appointments because they are Democrats not because of skin color. Looks like the reporter spin is being blatantly dishonest.

Some people are so egotistical they believe everything is about them, he is a great example.
