So both parties are obstructing what could be progress based on partisan values. Why do we allow this to continue? Because the majority of the population picks and chooses their news. We are dragged into this ratings war over superfluous stories based on sensational oddities that have no bearing on real world issues. Paul Walker received more coverage than the NDAA and so did Duck whoever. If the news informed the public of what was actually held in these bills they would be outraged.
The parties in power utilize these fallacies portrayed by reporters as real issues that must be addressed. Instead of the religious beliefs of a southern redneck or climate changes that are arguably true or false for which there might or might not be a solution let's focus on he things we know we can fix. The border is an issue that everyone agrees is a problem, yet no one fights to solve the problem. We send aid overseas for countries that don't help us while complaining about the homeless problem that is growing with no end in sight. We bail out companies with billions of dollars when we could have given each man, woman, and child over a thousand dollars each. Our economy is in shambles yet we sign trade agreements giving foreign nations the edge over our production capabilities.
How is it not obvious that our gubernatorial system is broken and that we need to remove every financial incentive to govern? Public service should not help make you a millionaire over a decade. The public trust should be held by those who strive to lessen their own personal gain while improving the lives of the country as a whole. Proper legislation could regain our advantage as the worlds economic powerhouse instead of pas feeing to those countries unwilling or unable to support themselves. Foreign diplomacy should not be catering to those less fortunate, but building partnerships that profit America.
