The "engines" did not scrape because it was not a 757, it was a cruise missile.
The nose of the bunker buster cruise missile used on 911 for the "757 crash" made the hole you blame on "an engine."

And look at the location of the poles. Oddly enough, within the 125 foot wingspan of a 757, not the 10 foot (or less) wingspan of a cruise missile.

But the most damage was in the outer ring. The damage decreased as the plane wreckage traveled deeper into the building.
None of those are dents. A light pole is not straight.
What pulled those out and smashed the top of them is the air wake of a cruise missile..
