Civil wars don't break out between political parties. This guy sounds like he's about 19 and shows it in his shallow understanding of political parties and people. And he's obviously never seen what the interior of Nevada looks like.

They look at the map of red sectors vs blue sectors and nearly pop their wad. How easy it will be to mop up those tiny blue areas

What they fail to realize is those blue sections are where the actual people are. More importantly, that is where the money is.
Every Red State has a major city that is the center of wealth and power. Those cities are the ones who support rural areas. That is where the capital is. The financial centers in the US are US, Chicago, LA, SF, Atlanta

As soon as your civil war starts, those cities will freeze your finances. You will have no way to pay your workers or military. Your monetary system will be worth what the confederate dollar was worth

And we'll freeze your food supply. Check and Mate! Can't eat money, can you.

Food can be shipped from anywhere in the world. Most major ports are in Blue cities

Who are you going to sell your food to without any ports to ship?

While Houston is liberal in the inner city the rest is all red,we'd take over the Port of Houston in short order.
