If all the ice in the northern hemisphere melted, sea levels would rise by approximately 7.4 meters (23 feet) due to the melting of the Greenland Ice Sheet alone.

But that won't happen in my lifetime. However, I may live to see a summer ice free Arctic Ocean. And that will be catastrophic enough.
