At the time of George Washington, students don't focus on George Washington and his bunch were operating as criminals against their then lawful government. 33 percent of Americans refused to help Washington and hoped the British executed him. 33 percent just did not care. 33 percent fought for our freedom.
Democrats remind me of the brits who wanted to keep the King of England as their master.
What democracy? You are forced to pay extreme taxes. You can be ordered into the Army. You will obey Democrats. What democracy are you talking about?

Corny and wrong. Today's Democratic Party is all about POWER and their way to hold onto it is to weaken and divide America. That is why REAL Americans soundly rejected them in the last election.
Why are you such a huge fan of enormous Federal rule? I thought at first you were for the people and not the Feds. Do the Feds ask for your permission? Why do you support them over the rest of Americans?

“Freedom of speech” is a beautiful phrase, strong, optimistic. It has a ring to it. But it’s being replaced in the discourse by “disinformation” and “misinformation,” words that aren’t beautiful but full of the small, pettifogging, bureaucratic anxiety of a familiar American villain: the busybody, the prohibitionist, the nosy parker, the snoop.
Four hundred years ago it was witches, then it was Catholic immigrants, then “the devil’s music,” comic books, booze, communists, and now, information.
Because “freedom of speech” is now frequently described as a stalking horse for hate and discrimination—the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk scolded Musk that “free speech is not a free pass”—it’s becoming one of those soon-to-be-extinct terms. Speech is mentioned in “reputable” media only as a possible vector for the informational disease known as misinformation. Soon all that will remain of the issue for most people is a flutter of the nerves, reminding them to avoid thinking about it.
The endgame is not controlling speech. They’re already doing that. The endgame is getting us to forget we ever had anything to say."

The Capitol is a symbol of our democracy
The gallows signify the contempt that Republicans have for our democracy
They love wages paid to a president. They want the lifetime retirement plan the Feds have for presidents. Trump does not want the money nor does he need it. We have no democracy. The last one was the Greeks prior to the Romans created a true Democracy.
Voting for a person, called representative only means the person and not we voters votes on things done in DC. That is no democracy at all.
Trump did not go to the capitol that day in January. And you know he stayed at the white house. Be law abiding he told them all prior to them going to the Capitol. That was no insurrection. The law did not charge any of them for that. There was broken windows. That they got charged for. There was cops all over inviting them in. If they got sentenced for what the Cops did, that can surely be pardoned by Trump.
You know why Biden and Harris are laughing? They both realize they will be multimillionaires due to the retirement they will get for certain.
You fail as a teacher. How can you be so wrong and still post here?
The Capitol is a place of business for the two chambers of Congress. Visitors go into that building daily. They even built a huge visitors center in it so don't tell us it is not for visitors.
You think that hunk of small rope could hang a human? Come on man, look at it again. Who will hold up some victim to let the victim place their head in that crappy noose? Think victims will leap up to reach it?

You mean that gallows was not big enough to hang the whole Capitol Building?
Those gallows framing our symbol of Democracy sent a message of contempt that Republicans have for our country

Now if you use government power directly or indirectly to silence people you believe are lying -- as Democrats have done -- that is a violation of the 1A.

If modern liberals were around then, they would have informed on the revolutionaries to the Crown. Because modern liberals long to be subjects, not citizens. You can tell because you all hate the idea of individual liberties.
