Here is an interesting list of America’s richest black communities. What is different about these blacks that they were able to succeed if racism is the cause of black poverty? What did they do differently?

Interesting.

Quick take away.

If a community is 77% one demographic, how is it "Diverse"?

In comparison, Haiti and the Dominican Republic not only share a border, but the population is identical in racial makeup:

The Dominican Republic has a vibrant economy:

"Over the past 25 years, the Dominican Republic (DR) has experienced a remarkable period of robust economic growth. The economy expanded by an average of 5.3 percent in 2000–19, driven primarily by capital accumulation and total factor productivity growth. The economy recovered strongly in 2021, with GDP rebounding by 12.3 percent, supported by a solid policy response to COVID-19, including fiscal, macroprudential and supervisory policies, and monetary easing. Tourism, remittances, foreign direct investment, mining revenues, free-trade zones, and telecommunications have helped make the DR the second fastest growing economy in LAC over the last decade, and as of 2019 the country was on track to realize its ambition of achieving high-income status by 2030."

Overview

In contrast, Haiti is a cesspool, in spite of the fact that he world has pumped $13 billion into it.

Yes. So why does Haiti remain a cesspool, and the Dominican Republican doing so much better? They both are almost exclusively black.

Oh look, most are in metro MD which means that they work for the DC or federal .gov......Big hairy deal.
Yup. A so-so married couple working for the government can be easily promoted to GS 13, at a minimum (lots of pro-black favoritism in the federal government, and the DC government is even more racist), meaning a combined income of as much as $260,000.

Yep, when my wife worked for FEMA there were a shit-ton of entitled blacks (mostly women) in her department that were at the top of the GS-12 scale and had been for years. At least they did not promote them further.

According to her most were sorry as hell but shit-all was done about them. Two hour lunches were the norm with them....If they showed-up at all....Never any disciplinary action.

In fact they were the ones that saw to it that Trump's portrait was not on the wall at the entrance to the facility in place of the Halfrican's for almost a fuckin' year.

The wife said that the covid was the best thing that ever happened so she could work from home and not put up with them till she retired.

Yeah, I had one year of work experience in the federal government here in DC. Couldn’t stand all the people who took two hour lunches, lazed around in the hall yapping all day, and actually got annoyed if they were asked to do something. It’s the biggest scam going.

I belted out of there for the private industry, where I wouldn’t be resented for doing good work and actually would feel I’m accomplishing something.

Blacks are thirteen percent of the American people but have 2.7 percent of the wealth. Out of nearly twenty million black families, less than 400,000 have a net worth of one million dollars.

The people who cause the problems want to make claims, but the fact remains that the root cause of the problems blacks face is white racism.

no the root causes are crime, kids out of wedlock, gangs and not staying in school.

Blacks don't commit 70 percent of the crime. 2.1 percent of the American population are criminal offender. .06 percent of the American population are black criminal offenders. 1.09 percent are white. You want to use percentages, use the correct ones.

Black unemployment is 5.8 percent. 94 percent of all blacks eligible to work are working.

“In 1965, Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan’s report, The Negro Family: The Case for National Action, attributed racial inequality as well as poverty and crime in the black community to family structure, particularly the prevalence of families headed by single mothers. Not only did research at the time cast doubt on this causality, but evidence over the last the 50 years demonstrates that rates of child poverty, educational attainment, and crime do not track rates of single parenthood. Thus, even though the share of children living with a single mother rose for all racial and ethnic groups through the mid-1990s and has remained high since then, school completion and youth arrests for violent crimes have declined significantly, while poverty rates have fluctuated according to economic conditions. Family structure does not drive racial inequity, and racial inequity persists regardless of family structure.”

-Amy Traub, Laura Sullivan, Tatjana Meschede and Thomas Shapiro, DEMOS, “The Asset Value of Whiteness: Understanding the Racial Wealth Gap.”

The root cause of the problems blacks face is white racism.
