American MSM silent on Christian Terrorist War in Africa

Not fair of me, to paint all christians, let alone african christians with a broad brush is it? I apologize, but then again all of us can be guilty of stereotyping can't we?

This is one of Afirica's longest running and bloodiest war, perpetrated by a "christian" terrorist group (Lord's Resistance Army) who wants to establish a theocracy based on the biblical ten commandments.

The liberal MSM has never said a word about it.........(sarcasm off)

The Lord's Resistance Army (LRA), formed in 1987, is a rebel guerrilla army operating mainly in northern Uganda and parts of Sudan. Muslim terrorists ARE openly supported by Imans and higher officials in the Islamic religion. They are supported by Muslim nations and clergy and the official leaders of entire sects and regions of Islam.

Provide the Christian religious text that support the "terror" this group is conducting. One can easily find text in the Koran and the writings of religious leaders of Islam supporting terrorists from that religion.

Yeah, but much of that is a struggle that has little to do with religion and has more to do with political and cultural influences.

You can't condemn Islam as a religion any more than you can Christianity for the crimes Christians have committed throughout history.

Its not the religion, its the people preaching the religion.

Just read the book of Leviticus if you want examples of the barbarity of the literal word of Christianity.

BTW, in the original post, much of that war is over oil, regardless of the fundamentalist war between Christians and Muslims.

The bible and the koran are replete with atrocious proclamations of violence, death, and war. Any kook can cherry pick and twist passages from either holy book, to perpetrate criminal acts.

Please don't pretend that any one religion is free from kooks and violence. You need look no further than this country, for examples of christian terrorism: Eric Rudolph, the Atlanta Olympic bombings, Abortion clinic bombing. And YES, some of these acts are praised by fringe "christian" groups and ministers. And do we need to go into state-sanctioned terrorist acts by Lebanese Christian Militias, during the lebanon civil war? I'm sure here at home, Pat Roberston and Jerry Falwell (or those like them) were supporting the lebanese christian militias - if not with financial support, then with moral support.

Islam is a highly decentralized religion. Any kook who wants to can become an "Immam". The point is, the overwhelming majority of muslims reject the killing of innocent civilians, as do the vast majority of christians.
