" Rocket Science Has Extrinsic Value Of Monetary Value In Real World Economic Earnings "
* Intrinsic Versus Extrinsic Value Of Learning Content *
Assuming instructors are able to master skills in promoting efficient and effective learning , what is the extrinsic value of the content being provided by the instructor , such as is there a monetary value in real world economic earnings ?
Typically instructor pay in elementary , middle and high schools is based on years of service , irrespective of the content being provided , which affirms there to be an intrinsic value to the instruction , while an extrinsic value of the instruction cannot be determined .
The compensation for instruction becomes negotiable when it is based on an extrinsic value of money in real world earnings .
* Depriving Compensation Of Legitimate Social Security Earnings *
While teacher retirement systems might provide better compensation than social security , as teachers typically pay into a teacher retirement system and not into social security , some teacher retirement systems prevent collection of both social security and teacher retirement system without a reduction in compensation from the teacher retirement system , irrespective of whether an instructor had worked in the private sector and contributed 40 quarters to the social security system , either before , or after , or while being an instructor .
At one time , former instructors could receive benefits of full teacher retirement and lawfully entitled social security , however pretentious posturing of partisan hacks for family values and fiscal responsibility , such as tom delayed , disregarded the 40 quarters of private sector earnings and claims based on a spouse , then called it double dipping and allowed the teacher retirement system to implement a penalty against legitimate entitlement to social security .
* Intrinsic Versus Extrinsic Value Of Learning Content *
Not sure what you mean by working harder , as harder does not necessarily imply the instruction is efficient or effective for learning , whether the limitations of skill set or natural talent are attributed to students or to the instructor .So just pay more and you get better work. Wages are directly tied to pay. More pay I work harder. Less pay I slow it down. Not rocket science.
