It is part of history that blacks who owned property owned slaves and so did the Indians. I know it sounds strange but it is the truth.

The indians were culturally inferior, and like all inferior cultures in history, they got their asses handed to them by a superior culture. Thousands of cultures were completely wiped out throughout history because, unlike Americans, other cultures didnt end up giving their defeated enemies land and rights; they were merely eradicated and forgotten. The indians were lucky that it wasnt a different group that came to their shores.

You think THIS is a race baiting thread? It's just historical fact. Whites owned slaves in America, Blacks owned slaves in America, and Indians owned slaves in America. Slavery was a relic that infected the entire world prior to the Enlightenment. Including Africa. Still EXISTS in parts of Africa. The magnitude and "commerce" of INTERNATIONAL slave trade was definitely 100 times worse. But only because the white man ABUSED that global reach that he had to do it before the practice was virtually ended.

And yes -- we commonly close or move any type of baiting thread. If it becomes a habit -- we act on that.

Plus slavery is alive and well in the world today with an estimated 24 Million slaves.

Things didn't exactly happen that way. You made treaties with the Native Americans, allowed them to be their own nations, and that was because the Native Americans did not stop killing whites trying to go west.

One example of a successful non white represents all of them, making any claim of white racism false, but we must always make sure that we point out that not all whites are racists or have participated in wrongs against people of color.

So do you think that black communities which are not considered their own nations while getting aid from the US government annually, are going to be allowed to get cities and states to change zoning ordinances to enable all black neighborhoods to build and run casinos?
