Bragg admits that some 30,00 new pages of evidence have been released by the Feds.

Is this so-called Brady material? Material favorable to the defendant. Several experts have already said that that is likely.

Prosecutors in Manhattan asked Thursday for a month-long delay of their hush-money case against former President Donald Trump, less than two weeks before the Republican presidential candidate was set to go to trial.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg agreed to the 30-day adjournment so that the ex-president’s lawyers can sift through thousands of pages of newly disclosed evidence from U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Damian Williams.

...

But Williams’ office turned over 31,000 pages of new evidence related to the case on Wednesday. Williams’ office will produce another round of evidence next week, Bragg’s office added in a court filing.

...

excalibur is such an orange ass.

30000 pages have been released, and Bragg is right to ask for a delay so that the accused's attorneys have plenty of time to look at it.

None of it will be favorable to the accused. No experts have even suggested so, but the accused has a right to look at it.

No moron. Bragg desperately needs more time because he can't even figure out what this alleged "underlying crime" is. He even admitted so in court.

Oh wait, wasn't this the same evidence that the feds used to come to the conclusion that Trump should not be prosecuted?

Delay indeed, if memory serves he has 15 days to review then proceed or dismiss.

Clearly a sign of desperation….remember this allegedly happened nearly 8 years ago…why are they just now turning over evidence??

The reality is this case only got brought cause trump decided to run, it’s pure election inference

The link doesn't make sense.

"Prosecutors in Manhattan asked Thursday for a month-long delay of their hush-money case against former President Donald Trump, less than two weeks before the Republican presidential candidate was set to go to trial."

Did Bragg ask for it or did he agree to it so Trump could sift documents?

Pouring over 1,000 pages per day seems a little burdensome, don't you think?

A fake news source = guess Bragg has some new evidence = bring it on.

Your OP says that Bragg agreed to delay the trail so Trumps attorneys could review the new material. Didn’t say a word about the pages benefiting Trump or not. Why can’t you write an honest post?

Try reading what I actually said.

Why would this call for a 30 day adjournment? With this much new evidence, it should call for a dismissal, without prejudice, so that the prosecutor can refil, once he has become informed of all the evidence.

30 days, is what you ask for if you hope nobody - your side or theirs - has time to find whatever exculpatory evidence could be there. This is a "let's just pleeeeaaaase have a trial!"

If any exculpatory evidence is found, it should be a dismissal with prejudice, and santions for whoever witheld this evidence for so long.

Just think. If Trump had not ran for potus again, none of us would give a shit about his court battles. In fact, we'd all be looking at a DeSantis nomination right now. No drama. Not baggage. No court schedules. None of these side shows.

Just DeSantis vs Biden in a normal election cycle. With normal opposing candidates.

Unless . . . the Democrats liked how well indictments worked to keep Trump out of the race, and turned them on DiSantis also.

DeSantis wouldn't be going through all this drama. He knows how to fight the democrats and win. He wouldn't have allowed his worshippers to attack the capital, because he wouldn't have allowed all the election drama that Trump created. He wouldn't have tried to get all those fake electorates.
He didn't have to pay off hookers.

DeSantis is a mission oriented, military, drama free kind of guy.

Trump supporters were retarded for throwing Ron under the bus. 6 solid years of democrat lead witch hunts. And now we're going to have 4 more. And for what? A dem lite president who signed 12 cr's into law. 3 or 4 omnibus bills. Increased the debt ceiling 3 times and suspended it for 2 years. Assaulted our 2A. Reauthorized the deep state to spy on Americans without a warrant.

Trump should've been the one the GOP threw under the bus, just from his own record. Much less all the drama and baggage he brings with him.

Fuck Trump. The democrats can have that RINO POS.

If he were fighting Democrats and winning, they would pull out all the stops to get him off the ballot. We know that from the way they have treated Trump.

Why wouldn't they? With Trump gone, they would suddenly turn into these high-integrity lovers of the democracit process?

Yes, but the Cult screwed the Pooch. A party would already have moved on. A cult lives and dies with Dear Leader.
Which is the Republican Party?

Yea that's what it is, none of these cases have nothing to do with him actually breaking the law.

oh, that's where we disagree. They certainly do. Prosecutor misconduct and corruption isn't legal...there are issues, just look at what has happened to Fani
