I have mixed feelings about this. I believe public shaming is an effective way to deal with hate-mongers and those associated with Alt-right and white pride/nationalists.

However, I also see them like sick alcoholics. These people need help--intervention and treatment. They are sick-minded deluded people, members of a cult which teaches hate, fuels resentment. Cult members often need some form of deprogramming to get them healthy.

I think this is way wrong. It's vigilantism gone amuck. What people do in their private lives, so long as it's legal, is and should left alone. This public shaming (and in one case the idiot WRONGLY identified a photo) has devasting real life consequences not only to that person, his employment but his family.

Remember when a paper published the names of women who had abortions? You think that is ok too?

I despise what these people stand for but they have a right to their views - they should not be lynch mobbed like that.

How did something that happened over a hundred fifty years ago affect anybody today?

My father could tell you stories about his upbringing that would make anybody cry. They were so poor many times they went hungry. He and his five siblings were brought up in a house about the size of a three car garage with no plumbing. Imagine going to the toilet in 0 degree weather outside in an outhouse with no roof. That's how he grew up.

If you really want to know what harmed blacks socially, culturally and economically, look no further than liberalism. Putting people on welfare where there is no opportunity. Promoting single-parent households which resulted in 70% of black babies born today out of wedlock. Single-parent homes are also directly related to poverty.

The reality is there is no such thing as "free speech". There is protection from arrest for speaking your mind politically but there are still consequences to speaking out.
