The simple and obvious answer is "no". But it sure is fun to watch these two contort themselves into knots trying find a way to discriminate against those they dont like; while trying to pass themselves off as tolerant of diversity. The answer is simple. Theyre hipocrites. And only push tolerance of what they support. And shout down, and try to silence that which they dont support. Typical fascism. So does the queer.Nope, that is hate, the homosexual employee has no choice. The nazi does. And the business owner serving mostly conservative Christian customers, who don't want to give their money to 'deviants', could offer the same excuse for firing a known homosexual, right?
That's debatable, and the debate is over science, which isn't really relevant to the argument. But clearly a socialist has a choice. Or a Christian or a Muslim. Tommy Tainant, Dragonlady - what say you? Should a business owner be allowed to fire a socialist, or a Christian, or a Muslim, if their beliefs caused the business "disrepute" with its customers?
Diversity has nothing to do with whether or not to fire a Nazi.
Your example of whether to fire a person who is gay when your customers are conservative Christians is a logical fallacy since being gay doesn't impact how the employees treat others, which is the point of the discussion.
Well, ok. Earlier you said - "... If you have anyone on your team who is disruptive to the work you're doing, they're a bad fit regardless of the skills they bring." so I was going by that.
