Another Catholic day stolen from the pagan world. Still a pagan day no matter how you dress it up. Lipstick on a pig
Halloween is a holiday celebrated on October 31st that blends ancient Celtic traditions with Christian observances. It originated from the festival of Samhain and the Christian observance of All Hallows' Eve, which became Halloween. Today, it is a secular celebration focused on activities like wearing costumes, carving jack-o'-lanterns, telling ghost stories, and trick-or-treating.
All Hallows' Eve: In the 8th century, the Catholic Church designated November 1st as All Saints' Day, a day to honor saints. The evening before was known as All Hallows' Eve, which later became Halloween.

Modern Traditions: Costumes and trick-or-treating: People wear costumes to celebrate. The tradition of "trick-or-treating," going door-to-door for treats, is believed to have roots in early European practices of asking for food or "soul cakes" in exchange for prayers for the dead.

Seems more about a Church that decided to have a day for their saints. Not sure why that would be pagan. Also, the day after all souls day is to ask for prayers for those who have died. Why would you not as a Christian pray for those who have died?
