All Doubts About Obama....Removed.

Facts are my stock in trade.

The proof of same is that you are not able to find anything I've posted that isn't false.

The same, of course, cannot be said of your posts.
facts are your stock in trade - and yet before seeing the contents of an executive order or viewing the legal justification for it you're going to declare it unconsitutional.

no, facts are not your stock in trade - although that bolded statement may be the most true thing you've ever said.

"Reagan and Bush Offer No Precedent for Obama's Amnesty Order
Reagan and Bush acted in conjunction with Congress and in furtherance of a congressional purpose."
Reagan and Bush Offer No Precedent for Obama s Amnesty Order - The Atlantic
Reagan acted in conjunction with the Simpson-Mazzoli Act. Any executive order issued by Obama would be doing the same - in conjunction with Congress (Simpson-Mazzoli being current law.)

How is giving 5million illegal immigrants immunity from deportation not giving 5million illegal immigrants defacto amnesty? I'm missing the difference between this EO and defacto amnesty.
The backpedaling begins.

It's nice to see the facts are finally leaking through that there will be no path to citizenship or legal status in Obama's EO.

Hey, can you tell us the difference between a stay of execution for a retrial and a pardon which releases a death row inmate from prison?

It's like that.
I'm not backpedaling. Who said Obama's defacto amnesty declarations were anything more than a temporary stays? Course while these 5million are on our soil they are having "Americano" babies, god bless them, and many are sucking on the democrat laid out welfare teat, and some of them are even being given voter registration cards and voting.
A temporary stay is not amnesty. Simple as that.

The hacks have been screaming "amnesty" like good little bird brain parrots.
Correct. It's the wrong word. Where can I send your award?

Pres. Ronald Reagan:
1981
By executive order, allowed 7,000 Polish anti-Communists to emigrate.
1982
Allowed 15,000-plus Ethiopians to emigrate.
1987
By executive order, rescinded deportation of 200,000 Nicaraguans.
1987
By executive order, deferred deportation of undocumented children of 100,000 families. [JSTOR]

Weren't these same RWnuts certain that the ACA mandate was unconstitutional?
Actually, there were rational reasons for believing the mandate was unconstitutional.

Not so for the claim Obama's EO is "amnesty".

Incorrect. It is normal for people to take off restrictive adjectives when describing an act. Defacto amnesty, isn't really much different than actual Amnesty. Esp. when the result will be millions of them being given refugee status. No? If the results are the same, what difference does it make what word is being used to specify how the act was accomplished?

For example, saying something isn't homicide when it's second degree homicide.

How is giving 5million illegal immigrants immunity from deportation not giving 5million illegal immigrants defacto amnesty? I'm missing the difference between this EO and defacto amnesty.

He will only be able to protect them for 2 years at most. That is of course unless Congress can pass some kind of, er, um, what is it that Congress is suppose to do? Oh Yeah, pass laws........
And what happens when his army of lawyers prove that 4million of the 5million are political refugees? See Cuban and Haitian boat lifts.

Well it is a virtual war zone in many Latin American countries. And like Saddam's advanced chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons programs, all Americans can say proudly "And I helped"

But I seriously doubt that they have the manpower to push that many cases through.

How is south america any different than the rest of the world, or American cities for that matter? Obama has already redirected money from the DHS from defending the countries borders to processing illegals as refugees. Hell they are even funding transportation for the illegals to take them from south America to locations distributed around the country.

"Reagan and Bush Offer No Precedent for Obama's Amnesty Order

If facts are your "stock in trade", why are you parroting utter bullshit about Obama's EO being an "amnesty order"?
Simple, if they're given a pass never to be deported, which is EXACTLY what the kenyan intends to do, then that is AMNESTY.

Period.

Next dumb thing you'd like to pin your bull shit to?

They're like America during prohibition, only more violent and lawless.

If there was ever any doubt about this anti-Constitution President, this preterition on Pennsylvania Avenue, all doubt will be removed tonight, when he spits on the United States Constitution.

1. "WASHINGTON (AP) — In a broad test of his executive powers, President Barack Obama declared Wednesday he will sidestep Congress and order his own federal action on immigration — in measures that could spare from deportation as many as 5 million people illegally in the U.S. and set up one of the most pitched partisan confrontations of his presidency.

2. ...[Obama] will use an 8 p.m. EST address Thursday to announce his measures and will sign the executive actions during a rally in Las Vegas on Friday. In doing so, Obama will be taking an aggressive stand that he had once insisted was beyond his presidential power.

3. ....the president himself had said in the past that he was not "emperor" and was limited in his ability to act.

"If 'Emperor Obama' ignores the American people and announces an amnesty plan that he himself has said over and over again exceeds his constitutional authority, he will cement his legacy of lawlessness...."
My Way News - Obama to announce immigration action Thursday

4. “He has been seated on a throne surrounded with minions and mistresses, giving audience to the envoys of foreign potentates, in all the supercilious pomp of majesty. The images of Asiatic despotism and voluptuousness have scarcely been wanting to crown the exaggerated scene. We have been taught to tremble at the terrific visages of murdering janizaries, and to blush at the unveiled mysteries of a future seraglio.”

That is how Alexander Hamilton, in 67 Federalist, lampooned the picture of the presidency that was being painted by critics of the Constitution.

One can only be amazed that there are folks who consider themselves Americans, who are not aghast at the lawlessness.
Yes, just as some Russians today yearn for a return of a totalitarian regime.....we, too, have our own reprobates.

"Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad"
You do know that there aren't 5 million people lined up somewhere ready to be deported...right?

They're snug in their homes, and rounding up 5 million illegals hasn't been proposed by anyone.

He's just decriminalizing their couch sitting.

All this is philosophical...what neighborhoods with lot's of illegals won't look any different before or after amnesty.

They'll still mow my lawn, clean the bathrooms at work, and wash the dishes at my favorite diner.

You're an idiot.

Ah so that's why we are importing them. We're just not as violent or lawless as we want to be yet.

It is easy to see how the immigration policy profile of Pres. Obama really dragged down results for Democratic candidates in Tuesday's election.

Majorities of virtually all types of voters answered that they preferred the President work with Congress rather than taking immigration action on his own:

75% -- men
59% -- blacks
54% -- Hispanics
51% -- Democrats
80% -- Independents
92% -- Republicans

President Obama recently said that he plans to go around Congress and take executive action on immigration policy. Which do you support more: (ROTATED) President Obama changing immigration policy on his own, or President Obama working with Congress to change immigration policy?

74% PRESIDENT OBAMA WORKING WITH CONGRESS TO CHANGE IMMIGRATION POLICY
20% PRESIDENT OBAMA CHANGING IMMIGRATION POLICY ON HIS OWN
5% DO NOT KNOW/CANNOT JUDGE (VOL.)
1% REFUSED (VOL.)

Only Congress can grant amnesty, and that is what 79 percent of Americans want. They want these illegals to be provided either a path to citizenship or some other legal status so they can remain here.

Congress has to do that, and the Republicans have been ignoring what the American people want them to do.

Obama is simply refusing to deport those people that 79 percent of America is saying they want to be able to remain here.

The GOP needs to stop fellating the 19 percent and start heeding the will of the American people and get to ******* work on immigration reform so those people can stay here legally.

11. " George Will: Obama’s unconstitutional steps worse than Nixon’s

a. President Obama’s increasingly grandiose claims for presidential power are inversely proportional to his shriveling presidency. Desperation fuels arrogance ...his pantry of excuses for failureis bare, his domestic agenda is nonexistent and his foreign policy... is floundering. And at last week’s news conference he offered inconvenience as a justification for illegality.

b. Explaining his decision to unilaterally rewrite the Affordable Care Act (ACA), he said: “I didn’t simply choose to” ignore the statutory requirement for beginning in 2014 the employer mandate to provide employees with health care. No, “this was in consultation with businesses.”

c. ....journalists did not ask the pertinent question: Where does the Constitution confer upon presidents the ‘executive authority’ to ignore the separation of powers by revising laws?” .... there is no such authority.

Even if he understood “normal” political environments here, the Constitution is not suspended...."
