The Republicans were too chickenshit to pass the amnesty legislation before the election. It would have hurt them on Election Day.

So they have precipitated this manufactured crisis by their delays and obstructionism.

Now that the election is over, they will pass the amnesty. Obama is simply staying the deportation of those who are about to receive amnesty from the Republican Congress.

They won't do a gd thing. Their bought off pundits and brainwashed hater dupes, and obstructionist Boehner, run their New BS GOP.

So the Reagan Bush ones were smaller and were done around the same time, one after, one before, as laws....Well, the mindless obstruction by Pubs has gone on for ten years, under 2 presidents, so of course the numbers are bigger. Also includes all the time since Reagan's amnesty, when Pubs have refused good SS/ID card or controls on employers, the only things that will work. And everyone agrees the Schumer/Graham bill would pass if Boehner allowed a real vote.

None of this changes the fact that there are legal precedents from every president since Ike. This Atlantic writer is FOS, and the hater dupe comments here are WAY beyond the pale.
