Video captures a Black man being put in handcuffs for trying to cash his paycheck
‘I am deeply sorry for where we failed and accept full responsibility,’ bank’s president says

"In a blatant incident of racial profiling, a Black man was handcuffed and escorted out of a bank for alleged fraud when he tried to cash his $900 paycheck in Minnesota. Bodycam footage obtained by local news station KTSP showed that Joe Morrow, 23, was arrested at a US Bank branch in Columbia Heights -- Bank manager John Askwith allegedly told the police that Mr Morrow had a fake check despite already verifying with his employer that it was real. According to Mr Morrow, the manager walked over to him and said: “Joe Morrow? Your check is fake... you people always coming in here with fake checks.”
Responding to him, Sergeant Justin Pletcher said: “Joe, I need you to calm down, first of all, OK? Don't say anything stupid because you're just going to get arrested for it.” Soon, another police officer arrived and the manager asked them to take Mr Morrow to another office. He was then handcuffed and quickly stood up from his chair. “I didn't threaten him. I got up, like, I’m mad,” Mr Morrow said. “The guy told the officer, ‘can you get him out of my office? He might take something on my desk.’ That’s when I got super mad."
Looks like a great call by the bank manager and a good arrest by the cops......You can tell he was guilty when he got angry just because the bank manager was worried that he would steal something off his desk...if you aren't a thief, why would that bother you?? ....Second of all, what law-abiding citizen cashes their paychecks at their own bank?? Most real Americans have direct deposit....So yes, that makes you look very suspect ....
But what seemed like a very good call on the part of the bank manager, quickly turned left....as in "woke left" -- Instead of the bank standing behind their own bank manager, they take the side of the so-called "customer" -- just because his check wasn't fake?? -- the bank has even issued him an apology and also offered a settlement....wtf?? What is our country becoming?? There was a time when those kind of people understood that if someone thought they were up to something; they would respect that person's concerns and suspicions....Not act all uppity and offended when we accuse them of something they didn't do, call the cops on them and have them arrested....
