I agree with you...here's the problem. In our 248 years, our government beaurarcracy has gotten bigger, and bigger, our debt has gotten bigger...and bigger....the power of the government has gotten bigger...and bigger. You say we need to streamline everything, I agree. If trump had lost, nobody would be looking at fixing any of this...it would all still be getting...bigger and bigger....
If trump fails at his goals of reducing waste...that's it...these efforts will never happen again, and our bloated government will just keep ever expanding.
What they are doing is not ideal, but there's no other choice, because to do it your way would take longer than trump has left in office.
