Those manning the self-checkouts got a bit more tasks than the Walmart greeters and those folks that check receipts at Costco. Restaurants are getting on the ball too with customers placing their own orders either through an app or kiosk. The industry that got self-service perfected are the gas stations, but they've been at it for quite some time. Banking and brokerages have also done well in transferring tasks to customers.
