Probably we had to work out some agreement with Canada. You cant just do things unilaterally. We were also working on a trade agreement with Canada and Mexico. Trump was also busy fighting of a rabid pack of jackasses trying to impeach him for something during that 3 and a half years.. and they were also trying to block all his appointments. It's not like he had a Democrat party to deal with who simply had the well being of the nation in mind. Would have been nice though, we could have got a lot more accomplished.

Please stop this. You were told what was going to happen if Progs took over. The inflation is ramping up, the prices of gas has gone up. Everything we do to live is getting higher in prices. And the great Progs answer is to pass bills so we can print of trillions and trillions and trillions of dollars more while the economy suffers from not reaching its potential. Look, I've shared my opinion of Canadian police abuses against myself and my family. They have in effect, destroyed my life and career pursuits. I'm not going to defend the covert cretins and their offspring who have decimated our nation on a global scale. I will, however, call balls and strikes.

Therefore, as far as I am concerned getting oil from regimes that stone women to death, cut off hands for petty theft and treat women like cattle rather than creepy Canada, makes little sense to me. Economically or morally.

Now, I'm not American obviously and I'm not going to attack those who push these policies. It's your country, your election and leadership. I'm not going to pretend it makes sense though.
