Alberta officials slam White House for demanding more OPEC oil after cancelling Keystone XL.

Nordstream 2 was to supply cheap gas to the Europeans. Trump thought he could force them to buy US natural gas at twice the price AND invest in billions of dollars to offload it and store it. It was idiocy.

Biden didn't do ANYTHING for Putin.. He did it for our European allies.

Why don't you think ?
Think? Who are the US troops in the EU to protect them from? Think hard.
Why would the EU pay their main adversary for gas? A "Devil's Bargain" if there ever was one.
That means that the US should stop paying to keep US troops in the EU. We need to bring our troops home ASAP and save about $24b a year.

How do you think Joe can afford so many expensive properties on a Senator's salary?
Maybe "the big guy" knows how to sell influence? Like Hunter's $83,000 a month no-show job at Burisma, or Hunter's profitable AF-2 flight to China where he got a cool $1.5b "to invest". I wonder how much Putin's Whore got for green-lighting Nord Stream 2?
60 years of investing In real estate and renting out for special gigs... All his money has always been in one basket, his entire life...investing in real estate..... Not stocks and bonds or money markets and other retirement funds, just real estate. Senator's salaries are good! Plus a college Professor's salary added to it.... And of course recently, he and wife have both had books....

Our troops don't contribute much to their economy.

Natural gas is a business. Putin can't eat it and he's not going to flare it off.

You think Putin is going to attack the Europeans?

Uh-huh, sure. How about the cash cows Hunter seems to have selling influence? Burisma, China, "paintings", meetings with "the big guy", etc. Easy money.

1. We US taxpayers are paying $24b to keep US troops in the EU to protect them from Putin.
2. Putin can cap his gas for all I care, we don't want him having cash to fund his military.
3. Putin attacked Ukraine, he took Crimea and Donbas, Poland is nervous...

You don't know anything about Hunter Biden. Neither does Trump.. He's just jealous as hell.. US foreign policy supported by the UN was to try and clean up Ukraine's reputation for corruption and teach them highest and best business practices so Ukraine could attract foreign investors. That was why they hired Hunter.

Total bullshit. Hunter Biden is a no-talent drug addict.

Burisma hired druggie Hunter for $83,000 a month for "the big guy" to fire the prosecutor who was too effective, and put in another one who did not prosecute anyone, using US aid as leverage.

Look at Hunter's work experience.

Putin didn't benefit.. Our European allies did. Iran needs to rejoin the international community and be a good citizen. That's the goal.

Trump gave the Chinese the soybean market in Brazil and the Australians a sweet deal with TPP.
haha putin didn’t and hasn’t benefited? haha yeah

sure that’s the goal with iran…so stop rewarding their current regime. xiden just can’t help himself…like he owes them

Inflation is definitely happening as you're saying... But supposedly it is temporary....until we catch up on producing the things we are short on, due to the cut back during the pandemic...

But to me there are other things going on that could keep inflation higher even after our supply for other things catches up....

Like the heavy drought causing water shortages is bound to keep food prices real high....wild fires killing crops and vineyards and orchards too.... And grain....if grain goes up then meats go up in price etc etc etc

And all the spending the past year and a half too....

So even when supply and demand reaches an equilibrium, inflation will be reduced from what its running today but imho, it will still be high.
What you left out is extreme high government spending and the national debt is now basically a consuming wildfire.
I fully expect this runaway rouge administration to once again extend the covid windfall payments, and extend the "free rent" moratorium.
This is driving wages through the roof.... $15/hr?? Pfft - in urban areas low wage jobs are now between $16 - $18 /hr.
This alone is causing significant inflationary pressure.
Right now we are seeing raw material pricing as basically having 5 years of price increases in just 6 months. This takes a few months before it effects shelf pricing. Like I said, you think prices are high now... wait till November.

I didn't leave out the big spending/(debt)!!!!! Read my post again! ;)

We know he's worthless scum.

Yeah, he's way worse due to how he has compromised us.

How have you been compromised?

OPEC price stands at $71.32.. It wouldn't take much of an increase in production to bring it down to $65.00 per barrel and our domestic producers can live with that.

Capitalism. It really is that simple.

Alberta is not Canada. Alberta is Texas North. They've been living off their "Heritage Fund" created by oil revenues, and are the only province in Canada without a VAT. They have always elected VERY conservative governments, and spawned the most socially regressive policies in Canada. The Fraser Institute, a far right libertarian think tank, is located in Alberta. They're the only province in Canada with Charter schools.

Selfish, greedy, and VERY entitled is how I would described the government, but not the people of Alberta.
Alberta sounds like a charming, smart, right thinking place. No wonder you fear and loathe it.
