Those of us who are older remember that in the late 60's early 70's there were environmentalists screaming about Global Cooling and we were heading for another ice age if we didn't stop polluting the atmosphere. But that trend reversed and the temperatures went up and they were forced to shut up. Then in the 90's a new generation of environmentalists started screaming about Global Warming and guess what? The climate started cooling a bit and they were forced to shut up. But then they got the great idea to call it Climate Change so they wouldn't be wrong yet another time.

Wrong.

No one ever was "screaming" about Global cooling.
What the experts were just informing us of in the 1970s, was that the warmest people of the normal 110k year long normal climate cycle, was about 20k years ago.
That means the earth would normally be entering into it normal cooling period of the cycle.

The fact we doubled the CO2 and caused an artificial new warming cycle on top of almost the warmest part of the natural cycle, mean we will have a double warming, that has never happened before.

And your claim that "climate started cooling a bit and they were forced to shut up", is totally false.
There has been no cooling since the 1960s. It is warming more and more.
