I was hating the other side before I changed to the GOP, and before there ever was a FOX News.
My family were all Southern Democrats, going back to the 1800's, as was I until the late 1980's. It wasn't until someone turned me on to Rush Limbaugh that I looked around me and thought to myself 'What the fuck?"
So I know a little about the other side. I was once one of them myself.
My father and I were always very political and argued politics all the time. I was at a family gathering at my sisters house for a birthday or something, and as always, me and my father were arguing. My then brother-in-law came in helping my sister to serve dinner, and laughingly said to me "you must be a big Rush Limbaugh fan!" WTF is Rush Limbaugh? I heard the name before, but don't know who this guy is! At the time, he recently started to broadcast in the Cleveland area.
About a year later the commies did something to piss me off, and that's when I decided to find this Limbaugh guy my brother-in-law mentioned at dinner that one day. When I turned him on, it was like listening to my own thoughts only being broadcasted over the radio. I was a fan ever since and learned a lot about politics.
The problem with the commies is they never turn on right-wing radio or television. If they did that, about half of them would leave the plantation and join the dark side. I guess it's kinda like a guy that finds out his wife is cheating on him. He knows it's happening, but refuses to listen to the truth from other people.
