Don't blame PPACA. Blame the private sector, capitalist run insurance company. Apparently, it's too stupid to manage its physician network.

You might want to run the numbers for CA. For example under the mediCal system toncilectomies are reimbursed at less than $200, which is less than marginal cost. At Mayo Clinic where my wife starts terminal leave in 19 days she has a lot of company heading for retirement. Since minimum retirement time is 30 years and Mayo's Jax campus is only 34 years old this was a bit of a shock. It turns out that the ACA cost containment software available is complex and buggy because of confusion about which rules: HHS, DOT and others; apply even though Mayo no longer takes new medicare/medicaid patients and grandfathering is missed if even one annual physical is missed. So, sorry Jake you are the nimrod.

and what about that whole act of..... you can keep your doctor???

its bullshit.

It's 11% of 100% that have "signed up." That 100% is a very low and unknown % of people that Obama and his admin claimed needed insurgence in the first place... Then of that 100% the question still remains if they can find a doctor and then what % can afford their deductible...

Basically, that 11% could be a realistic .11% of people that "needed insurance" and be .011% of people who needed insurance but then actually get care dude to no doctors taking ACA crap.

Jake does not care about people, he cares about his party, the democrat party. Pretending to be a republican just makes him look stupid, as if even the far left reactionaries (lol) believe Jake is a Republican...

What part of qualified doctors in the program are a small amount and very few don't you want to understand Jake?
She is having trouble trying to find any who do accept the new health insurance.
We all told everyone here that the new health care would make it a shortage of
Doctors, but they did not accept it.

More of a regional shortage and that predates Ocare. But in CA being a GP gatekeeper for ACA means that with mediCal compensation you will sink below the poverty level anywhere but out in the sticks. Likewise in NY, IL and MA.

But in AL and rural FL Canadian GPs can and do live like kings on salaries that would put them on food stamps in LA or NYC as in for $240,000 you can get a McMansion with 20 or more acres about 10 miles from Lake Martin AL. About 60 miles from my 3b/1.5ba house with 0.25 acre I could buy a 3b/2ba house with 12 acre lot for less than 25% of expected net from my existing home. So, flight to low tax and/or rural areas by physicians is going to be one of the sideeffects of Ocare.

Most doctors refuse to accept Medicade. They are paid only pennies on the dollar--so they stay away from Medicade patients. Most of the new enrollee's on Obamacare are Medicade. Since we have had this new enormous addition to Medicade enrollee's it's of no surprise that this woman can't find a doctor to treat her.

Guess they didn't think about that when they wrote this bill?
