After Being Energy Independent for First Time in Decades in 2020, US Became Energy Importer in 2021 and Projections Are 2022 Will Be Worse

The democrat party and their Pravda are the greatest existential threat to the United States.
Biden and his carrot-topped official liar, Baghdad Barb, are trying to deflect this onto Russia.
Retarded democrat sheep buy it and parrot.
Things go from bad to worse and the abject stupidity of democrat voters is to blame.

More fail by Biden and his maladministration.

Worst President ever with a comparably bad Cabinet.

Who could forget the Energy Secretary Granholm laughing when asked about getting more energy from domestic sources.

The Daily Caller reported:

Explain how we were energy independent.

You are correct. We were not energy independent.

However, we were on the path, and we should return to that path.
Trump endorsed all forms of energy including at least two that libs hate - fossil fuel and nuclear energy

but liberals are stubbornly wedded to wind and solar or nothing

greenies are to blame for energy shortages that lead to high prices

The USA has been an net exporter of refined products for over a decade ... things like light machine oil, gasoline and paraffin ... we've not been crude oil independent since WWII ... the only real difference is we import our crude oil from Canada and Mexico instead of the Middle East ... Quid Pro Joe uses the Presidential Knee-pads to blow Throw, not MbA ... ha ha ha ...
Funny that you should mention Machine oil------which we need you know to run our machines----guess what there is massive shortage of right now....

Buttttttt shhhhhh...its supposed be a secret.

Huh?
What is your definition of energy independence?

The Neo-GOP can't help but lie. Big lies, Little lies. Knowable lies. It makes them feel better about belonging to the Cult of the Trumpyberra....

In 2021, the United States imported about 8.47 million barrels per day (b/d) of petroleum from 73 countries. Petroleum includes crude oil, hydrocarbon gas liquids (HGLs), refined petroleum products such as gasoline and diesel fuel, and biofuels. Crude oil imports of about 6.11 million b/d accounted for about 72% of U.S. total gross petroleum imports in 2021, and non-crude oil petroleum accounted for about 28% of U.S. total gross petroleum imports.

In 2021, the United States exported about 8.63 million b/d of petroleum to 176 countries and 4 U.S. territories. Crude oil exports of about 2.98 million b/d accounted for 35% of total U.S. gross petroleum exports in 2021. The resulting total net petroleum imports (imports minus exports) were about -0.16 million b/d in 2021, which means that the United States was a net petroleum exporter of 0.16 million b/d in 2021.

We are more dependent on foreign oil in the face of restrictive domestic energy policies aimed at US domestic fossil fuel industries from the current administration. This is what the Administration’s handlers wanted and they got it. Of course, they don’t want the political fallout.

Reality doesn't bear that out. Biden has returned to the restriction of the Obama era. The US oil industry nearly doubled production in the Obama era. No reason to think the industry is not ramping up production as fast as it can.
