More fail by Biden and his maladministration.

Worst President ever with a comparably bad Cabinet.

Who could forget the Energy Secretary Granholm laughing when asked about getting more energy from domestic sources.

The Daily Caller reported:

The U.S. is projected to become a net importer of crude oil in 2022, just two years after the nation achieved net exporter status, according to government data.
The country will import more crude oil than it will export, signaling lower domestic production of the commodity, according to an Energy Information Administration (EIA) report Friday. In 2020, the U.S. exported more petroleum than it imported for the first time in several decades.

“In 2021, the United States returned to importing more petroleum (which includes crude oil, refined petroleum products, and other liquids) than it exports following its historic shift to being a net exporter of petroleum in 2020,” the EIA said. “According to our February 2022 Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO), we expect net crude oil imports to increase, making the United States a net importer of petroleum in 2022.”

…Former President Donald Trump pursued an aggressive energy agenda, promoting domestic fossil fuel production. The Trump administration approved multiple pipelines, ended the previous coal leasing moratorium and opened up more federal lands for oil and gas leasing.

President Joe Biden, though, has taken the opposite approach, nixing the Keystone XL pipeline, ditching an oil drilling project in Alaska, staying silent on a court ruling that prohibited a massive offshore drilling lease in the Gulf of Mexico and making it harderfor utilities to gain approval for natural gas projects.

Are you sure 2020 is the yardstick year you want to go by? You might also consider sale price on the international market, though I have no looked up a graphic.

Truth is, the US never was energy independent. That was a smokescreen that was used to divert attention to the fact that the US was starting wars in the ME for the oil.
So who did we go to war with and take their oil? You are a complete moron. Look out were coming for Canada's sour crude next. Better duck Canuck.

We have never been energy independent. We import very little oil from the middle east. We have imported from Mexico, Canada and Venezuela for more than 2 decades... Since Trump sanctioned Venezuela we buy from Russia...we don't buy much these days. Remember, the oil business hates a warzone.

That's probably a daily thing in his condition

The drugs they pump in him is sinful and Jill is an enabler.

Maybe when Pelosi rose up during the SOTU address and rubbed her fists together like a fly she had a remote in her closed hand that released some more drugs into Joe's system.

But this is elder abuse and abuse of the nation. As things gp from bad to worse everywhere sane people look.

You've got a better reply in you than that Surada.
The oil business loves to own the resources in the ground in the ME and beyond. British wars made the oil industry great.

Are any Americans aware of the reasons for British colonialism? And if so then are any aware that America has succeeded the British for the very same reasons?

You know Surada, the only talking point to say otherwise is that it's always been for the spring cabbage crop in those oil rich countries, and not the oil at all!

Doe Russia have one of the greatest oil resources in the world today? Besides the cabbages that is?

That didn't work out in Iraq or Syria. Oil companies just hate a warzone. Meanwhile, look at the huge increase in Russian imports to the US between 2016-2021. Here's where US oil and gas supplies come from

Yes, and the fact is that oil imports can be juggled around so that the US doesn't buy much Russian oil and some other country does. The US just buys more Saudi and Canadian or whatever. Biden's efforts and talking points on denying Russian oil are full of shit. The world is well aware of oil supply manipulation by America on M.E. oil.
Apparently in truth the US imports about half of it's needs.

Nope. We buy very little oil from Saudi Arabia. ...or OPEC. We increased imports from Russia from 14 million to 72 million between 2016-2021. How do you think the US is manipulating middle east oil? Read this article. Here's where US oil and gas supplies come from
