After Being Energy Independent for First Time in Decades in 2020, US Became Energy Importer in 2021 and Projections Are 2022 Will Be Worse

Most Saudi wells produce 500 to a thousand barrels a day. They can afford fracking and gas injection to keep pressure up. They don't pump oil. The lift costs are low, safety is a high priority. It's the largest oil company in the world and well integrated.
You are making the case for US to be more dependent on foreign oil. The highest gas prices are coming under Biden’s watch. Take your argument to the voters in ‘22 and ‘24.

The US buys very little oil from OPEC. We import from Venezuela, Mexico and Canada.. then Russia when Trump put sanctions on Venezuela. Typically we import between 8 million bpd and 5 million bpd. US crude is always a dollar more than OPEC or Brent.

Tell that to the voter. Again, you have not provided any economic justification as to why increased regulations from Biden-Harris were necessary on US oil companies.

Spew all you want. Neither the US voter nor the Global Markets will agree with your justifications.

We're talking about production emissions again?

Trump's holocaust attempt did drive the price of gas downward....people sheltering in place and dead folks don't drive much.
Then why would Biden-Harris feel compelled to “reign in the oil companies” with such an aggressive and egregious suite of regulatory policies aimed at US Oil Companies?

The Gas Price Hike happened under their policies, under their watch. Democrats own high gas prices.

The pandemic? When Trump got Saudi Arabia to pump less oil that was like price support for domestic producers.

I think as a political matter in terms of "who is going to pay the price"...you're correct. The reasons are much more complex than the results on the street but the Democrats being in power means they own it.
