Admitting that Aetna PR about ObamaCare has changed since proposed merger between Aetna and Humana was blocked, still what it means is fewer choices, in some states, for enrolled and prospective enrollees for 2017. Aetna does not participate in the California exchange, for example, already.

Aetna CEO threatened Obamacare pullout if feds opposed Humana merger

There are 20 million covered under ObamaCare, and the Ryan Republican plan isn't really too thrilled about pre-existing conditions coverage itself. Even Aetna had noted that it could likely live with the short-term losses expected from the newer concept, getting started. Then it wanted to merge with Humana. The CEO got miffed when the merger was blocked.

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Republicans took away upwards of $800.00 per household per year when it took away the Make Work Pay Refundable Income Tax Credit, from everyone: In 2011. Republicans now think that everything is even better(?)! Red States do not want paying customers with $800 extra dollars per year in their stores(?)! That is thought bad for business, at Lunatic Fringe RNC!)

Humana is pulling out of Obamacare too, dip. They need it to survive.

All is proceeding as foretold.

So what you're telling me is that no matter how many rules, requirements, mandates, etc we pass into law, businesses will always look for a way to either make the same profits, or less the public suffer the loss? Well whodathunk?

Weatherman2020 is a year behind the times. Actually, Humana had not been too much into ACA in 2015, and the proposed merger with Aetna has now been blocked, subject of the OP. And actually, Aetna did not try to trust liberal Democrats. They did not, and that is repeatable, they did not and do not participate in the Exchange in Liberal, Democratic, California.

Notable in Liberal California, for example: Donald Trump will be on the November ballot twice. Republicans can stay home with the nationwide discomfort with Donald Trump listed as the Republican Candidate. Everyone else can note that as everyone else might expect: Donald Trump is also on the ballot as the American Independent Party, nominee, the old George Wallace, Neo-Klan, berserker bunch.

There is not so much a claim that there is special and unique California deity, however. (1) We also have Hare Krishna, and (2) the wannabe House Speaker, Kevin McCarthy, and (3), secular election rules.

Aetna mainly wanted a bigger chunk of all the money.

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Donald Trump did become a Third Party Candidate, after all: Or maybe a sixth or seventh party candidate, after all! Only the real Donald, aka Duck, likely knows for sure(?)!)

Not my fault you can't read the link to Humana stating they have withdrawn plans for Obamacare.

Epic failure.

In the link Weatherman2020 posted, Humana had never been much into ACA in the first place.

More compelling is that anyone notes that Donald Trump is on the ballot in California as American Independent Party, and just as a coincidence, also as a Republican--which is easily extremist enough, given the Lunatic Fringe RNC--Donald Trump Campaign: Especially in recent weeks.

1. The concept of U. S. alliance for security purposes is the direct confiscation of the partner nation's valuable assets, such as the oil in Iraq.
2. The concept of U. S. support for Black American, high unemployment and deteriorating standard of living: Is more Police, enabling them to at least sleep in(?)!
3. The concept of U. S. mainstream USA is something out of Breitbart News Network, FOXTV.
4. The concept of winning is multiple bankruptcies, losing the electoral vote, the Senate most likely Blue, and with a New House Speaker, to boot!

RNC "Freedom" is to put the diversity groups International into local colonies, or set them off like Lincoln's Party, even without the One Talent of the servant in Matthew 25:14-30, clearly unable to create other five, or other two, not even having just one! The White Power concept of more police, however, does to be explained!

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Paying customers in local stores clearly not a concept, in Red States USA! More Stores, and Clinton Votes, seem likely in Blue States USA!)
