Advice for winter

Here in the high desert it can get really cold, down to around 50 degrees..........

I'm prepared........

When I lived in Colorado anything over 20 degrees was indeed t-shirt weather....... sometimes........ When we moved to El Paso TX if it got down to 50 we were wearing shorts and t-shirts and the locals were bundled up like Eskimos. Now having lived in the high desert for many moons I have acclimated which means 100 degrees really isn't that hot and 50 is rather chilly, 30 is downright cold!!

It's a 40,000 btu forced air kerosene heater. How would you tan with it?

I have a friend who says we are in for a bad winter. The squirrels tails are unusually bushy. Anybody else ever hear that? I promise it is not a conspiracy.
