First, the prosecutor was not investigating his son. Second, the prosecutor was not prosecuting any of the Ukrainian corruption.... THAT is why he was fired.

Even the company that Hunter worked as a board member at was corrupt, and the prosecutor refused...for two years that prosecutor let the investigation in to them, lay dormant.... the UK had a case against their corruption and this prosecutor s suppose to help with providing evidence and refused.... the UK had to drop their corruption case because of that prosecutor....

The IMF, the USA, the World Bank, the EU, the UK were all helping the Ukraine after Russia invaded Crimea part of the Ukraine..... but the money they were giving ended up being siphoned off and used corruptly.
