Adam Schiff op-ed in Teen Vogue calls for the repeal of the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, which says gun manufacturers cannot be sued

The Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act was signed into law in 2005. It allows the gun industry to avoid accountability, meaning gun manufacturers cannot be sued. CHANGE!

They can be sued if they make a defective product. They can not be sued for what people chose to use the product illegally for. Or as already ,mentioned should car manufacturers be sued for drunk drivers?

That is false information.
You can still sue a gun manufacturer for malfunctions, just like any other industry EXCEPT vaccines.
If you buy a gun, go to shoot it & the thing backfires, you can still sur the gun maker.
You can't sue them for user error, just like you can't sue makers of knives, hammers, cars, gasoline or anything else people use to kill others

Actually the PLCAA only provides protection from liability for crimes committed with the firearms.

Gun makers are no more liable for some fool shooting up a liquor store than is Subaru is for selling a car someone uses to get loaded and run people over with.

If gun makers make defective products, they are still quite liable.

Yes, you are a troll. A lying troll at that.

The act protects gun makers from malicious law suits, legal warfare meant to bankrupt them even when they have done nothing wrong. If they make a defective gun, they, like all other businesses can be sued…you lying twit.

I had to click on your link. I honestly thought you must be joking that Adam Schiff is writing for Teen Vogue, now.

Is this better or worse than when Fauci collaborated with Olivio Rodrigo to give medical advice?
