I could and should absolutely ask for .001% more commission but I’m scared to make demands. This company has fucked up and let way too many good employees go since Covid. It’s like they are spiraling out of control.

My boss and I got paid on the same number. He got .004% and I got .003% of everything. I’m making up the percent but you get the point. He was making more commission than me when I’m the star. I couldn’t believe it but i think the president thought he sells more $ than me but today I do half of his job and my job. And what he sold was easy renewals of annual software maintenance contracts. And here’s the kicker. He was only charging $3000 and We pay $1500. When I took over I charged everyone $3750 an so we make $750 more on each contract now. So since they got rid of his $100k salary, why don’t I insist on that extra point? Why? I’m a coward and I make more than enough. All I want is to continue making $85k for 7 years and I’ll be a millionaire.
